Teresa Campos
Teresa Campos is a singer, composer and leader in workshops. She was born in Porto, in 1988, and she has a degree in Education, with a special interest in Education by Art. In 2014 she did her Masters in Music on the  Guildhall School of Music & Drama, in London, with distinction. During the last decade she has been involved in many education and community projects - in Portugal, England, Argentina, Israel and Japan - and she was the lead singer in many folk and  jazz groups. She has also collaborated since 2012 with the Dutch Theater Company Gehring & Ketelaars, where  she composes music for plays. Currently, besides being a teacher in many voice workshops in several countries, she works in Portugal with female acapella group  “Sopa de Pedra”, dedicated to research and of traditional portuguese songs. In London she works with Chiel Buscher, an electro musician.


Pau Baiges
Started his music and piano studies with six years and graduated in the ESMUC, in the Richard Strauss Konservatorium of Munique, and in Koniklijk Conservatorium of Brussels. Studied Jazz, improvisation, traditional and world music, and played accordion in Sweden,Croatia, Slovenia and Portugal Ethno Festival's. He performed as a soloist and chamber musician and directed several theater and opera projects in different parts of Europe. He was awarded in several piano and chamber music events. He worked as a teacher and a musician in the psychiatric hospital “La Petite Maison” in Chastre, being part of the social and artistic project Equinox, directed by Maria João Pires. He is the co-founder of Barcelona Ethnic Band since 2010.


Denys Stetsenko
Originally from Ukrania, Denys started his classical music studies at a young age, and from 2003 he began to learn and study improvised and traditional music, forming the Monte Lunai e Dancing Strings, and participating in several world music and dance european festivals. He Graduated in Violin by Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa, and has a  Masters in Chamber Music – Barroc by Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espectáculo (ESMAE), Porto. He is a founding member of Quarteto Arabesco, Duo Stetsenko, Fávola d'Argo e Parapente700. During 2011-2014 he was a teacher in ESMAE, Porto, Amandine Beyer. He teaches Violin for Chamber Music in Santa Cecília Academy and Conservatorium in Lisbon. As an instructor he has oriented instrumental traditional music workshops, particularly: Baltoques (Tradballs, Lisbon), Conservatório de Córdoba (2011, 2014), Crisol de Cuerda 2013 and several others in Madrid as well as in Andanças Festival (Portugal), Folkarria (Spain) e Festiv’Alzen (France).

Invited musicians:

Juan de la Fuente (Percussion)
Madrid, (1982). Starts his musical training at Escuela de Música Creativa (Madrid) in Afro-Cuban percussion with Juan Viera. He studies harmony with Nacho Mastretta, Miguel Marcos and Felix Santos and music production with the sound engineer Ernesto "Tito" Saavedra. He extends the study of different musical styles and percussion instruments as a self-taught, specializing in traditional music (Latin, Central European and Iberian) and flamenco. He has worked with different formations as "Iratxo" (Rock), "El Informe de Walter" (Fusion), "Karaemba" (Fusion), "Million Dollar Band" (Balkan Music), Murga Express (Belgium), Duo "Parapente 700" (Balfolk, Portugal), Duo Decker-Parmenter (Balfolk, Belgium-Portugal)... Currently he combines his work as a drummer and music producer on "Quartet Ombú" (Progressive Folk), Trineo (electroacoustic), Martina Quiere Bailar (Folk) and as a percussionist on "Rasa" (Ethnic Jazz) and Pyramid Blue (AfroBeat).

Dance Artistic Leaders:


Catarina Ascensão 
Graduated in Contemporary Dance and Choreography (2006), in Portugal, attending a masters in Education through Art – Theatre, Catarina develops her work between teaching, creating/performing and through a path in holistic therapies, as well as in handcraft, such as handmade notebooks, paper and wood carving. Until 2011 Catarina worked as a full time freelancer, mainly in Portugal, combinig her artistic work as a dancer in different companies and as teacher in several public and private schools. In 2012, she quit this path and started to travel and deepen her holistic research, mainly in India, France and Portugal, with different approaches, discovering bridges between her backgound and in the connection between movement / life / healing. Also in 2012, she started to deepen her knowledge in traditional dances and world music, discovering a new passion. Since then, she has been leading workshop in several festivals. She co-organizes an annual event: Resitrad, develops Pendulum with Daniel Detammaecker, and is the artistic director of Le Bal Détourné.  At the moment she’s deepening a specific work upon connection and listening of the being, through movement, using a blindfold as a tool for opening the doors of perception. Sérgio Cobos
Specialized in galician music and dance, learned in folk school “Cantigas e Agarimos” and through field work and  and Ethnocoreographic and Ethnologic researches since 1989. He was the musical director and dancer in GS21 and Circio dance companies. Also a musician Violia- a group of traditional galician music and founder and interpreter  of Trebón and Bruma, two companies dedicated to new tendencies in galician music and dance.  He is currently part of the play  «Fica no singelo» from  Clara Andermatt Company. He is a dancer in different musical groups such as Berroguetto, Xosé Manuel Budiño e Marful, among others,  and he teaches tradicional galician dances in different events. Besides percussion, and bag pipes he plays the accordion  for groups such Mala Herba e Aqui Há Baile, to which he  made the arrangements from PédeXumbo Publication Cadernos do Alentejo.

Kieren Alexander Australian accordionist and pianist based in Prague and Europe; Kieren Alexander is involved with many musical projects as performer and educator. He is a specialist in Latin American music, including salsa, forro and bossa nova, and European folk music, from Celtic to Bulgarian. He studied in Australia and Brazil and has performed with a multitude of different artists. Since 2012 he has been based in Europe, where he is now in demand as an ensemble leader, performer and teacher of world folk music. He travels regularly to lead various educational projects, focused on the exchange of folk music by ear. He has years of practice leading groups of musicians, both young and old. In 2014 he artistically co-lead the Prague Folk Marathon (CZ), Folklang Project (DE), Etno Umeuropa Caravan (SW) and Rila Music Exchange (BU). His performance credits include various festivals to date; Woodford Folk Festival (AUS), Vienna Accordion Festival (AUT), Umefolk (SW) and Beltine (CZ). Currently he performs in Europe with different groups, including Tango Underground Fiesta, jazz manouche group Futurswing, and the Transatlantic Chilean Folk Ensemble. Formerly he has been a conductor and director of various ensembles, including the Australian based Queensland Accordion Orchestra and the European based La Descarga Salsa Orchestra. Rémi Decker Rémi Decker is born (in Belgium) in a family where folk music and dance were evidence... He started to play the bagpipe at the age of 10. Through the years he develops his skills of whistle player and folk singer as well. Thanks to that heritage and an unusual creativity, he makes you travel through time and space as if by magic like a 21st century troubadour. He traveled and performed through the entire planet solo, or with different eclectic bands like Griff, Minuit Guibolles or Decker-Malempré... http://www.remi-decker.be Mentor artístico 2015: Anton Schneider Anton Schneider é um reconhecido bailarino e professor de dança, com uma vasta experiência na criação performática de dança folk para espetáculo. Anton é conhecido pela energia e simplicidade com que conduz as suas formações. No seu trabalho enquanto professor, destaca-se a capacitação dos alunos pelo seu envolvimento no processo de aprendizagem e de criação.  Enquanto bailarino, segue uma procura constante das qualidades que unificam a dança folk, na relação com a gravidade, na fluidez e no movimento enraizado na musicalidade. Na sua formação formal destaca-se a sua graduação na Escola de Dança e Circo em Estocolmo, na Suécia. Desde 2003 que Anton actua e ensina profissionalmente, na Suécia e internacionalmente. Invited Artists: Teresa Campos Teresa Campos é cantora, compositora e líder de workshops. Nasceu no Porto, em 1988, é licenciada em Educação e tem um interesse especial por Educação pela Arte. Em 2014, concluiu com distinção o Mestrado em Música ,da Guildhall School of Music & Drama, em Londres. Durante a última década, esteve envolvida em muitos projectos educativos e comunitários – em Portugal, na Inglaterra, na Argentina, em Israel e no Japão – e participou como solista em vários grupos musicais, nas áreas da música tradicional, música popular e jazz, e em mais de uma dezena de CDs. Tem igualmente colaborado, desde 2012, com a companhia de teatro holandesa Gehring & Ketelaars, compondo música para peças de teatro e executando-a ao vivo no palco, no decorrer da sua apresentação pública, em Amesterdão e em Londres. Presentemente, para além de orientar workshops de voz, em vários países, trabalha, em Portugal, com o grupo vocal feminino Português “Sopa de Pedra”, dedicado à recolha e ao canto a capella de canções de raíz tradicional, e em Londres, com o músico electrónico Chiel Buscher. Prolongou o estudo por diferentes estilos musicais e instrumentos de percussão de forma auto-didata, especializando-se em música tradicional (Latina, da Europa Central e Ibérica) e Flamenco. Trabalhou em diferentes formações como Iratxo (Rock), El infome de Walter (Fusão), Karaemba (Fusão), Milion Dollar Band (Música Balcânica), Murga Express (Belga), Parapente700 (Folk), Decker-Parmenter (Folk). Atualmente, combina o seu trabalho de percussão e produtor musical em Quartet Ombú (Folk Progressivo), Trineo (electro-acústico), Martina Quiere Bailar (Folk) e de percussão em Rasa (Jazz Étnico) e Pyramid Blue (Afrobeat)
